Leviton recently announced the introduction of its new line of Decora Countdown Timer Switches. The line consists of eleven models in total, including 15A models featuring the company’s new Green Flex Sleeve for easy wiring to ground or neutral wires, and 20A models that can be used in single pole, multi-way or multi-timer applications and support higher load ratings.

NYControlled Registration Opens

NYControlled, the upcoming educational trade show for lighting control systems and products, will open its doors on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at the Metropolitan Pavilion in NYC for the inaugural event. Supported by the Lighting Controls Association, this much-awaited lighting controls event is now accepting registrations for both exhibitors and attendees.

Autani and LiteTrace Merge

Autani, a leading provider of advanced building automation and energy management solutions, and LiteTrace, a pioneer in Bluetooth® lighting control solutions, recently announced their merger to create a global leader in smart commercial building technologies and energy optimization.

The DALI Alliance has extended the DALI-2 certification program to include firmware updates via the DALI interface in devices including control gear, application controllers and input devices such as sensors. Firmware updates are specified in Part 105 of the IEC 62386 standard.

The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) 2023 Integrated Lighting Campaign (ILC) recognized 11 organizations for exemplary commitment to energy efficiency and environmental responsibility in their buildings. Partners were recognized at the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) annual conference for projects that showcase how lighting system upgrades can lead to significant energy savings and create more comfortable, productive, and environmentally responsible spaces.
