The Lighting Controls Academy is pleased to announce it has updated its popular Education Express course, EE102A: Occupancy and Vacancy Sensors, now available at NEMA Academy.
As a key automatic shutoff strategy, occupancy and vacancy sensors save energy by turning lighting Off when a space becomes unoccupied. Authored by C. Webster Marsh and Craig DiLouie, LC, CLCP, EE102A: Occupancy and Vacancy Sensors provides education about specifying sensors where needed to comply with energy codes, selecting appropriate sensing technology and features, and applying sensors to various space types.
This course is registered with the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Continuing Education System (CES) for Learning Units (LU)/Health, Safety, Welfare (HSW) credits, and is recognized by the National Council on Quality in the Lighting Professions (NCQLP) for Lighting Education Units (LEUs). It is also required for CALCTP (CALCTP) and NLCAA (NLCAA) training and certification and as preparation for NALMCO’s Certified Lighting Controls Professional (CLCP) certification exam.
