The DesignLights Consortium (DLC) has released Draft 1 of its Technical Requirements for Networked Lighting Controls Systems, V5.2 and has invited public comments.
These Technical Requirements will refine and expand the NLC Qualified Products List (QPL), enabling more NLC systems to become eligible for energy efficiency program rebates. The DLC noted this is a much smaller update than its November release of SSL V6.0 & LUNA V2.0, and a much shorter document.
Here are the main goals of the Technical Requirements:
* Highlight emerging capabilities in networked lighting controls
* Strengthen the role of networked lighting controls in energy efficiency programs
* Simplify the QPL experience
* Improve visibility across systems to better identify compatible products
