Signify recently announced the intention to acquire Nemalux, a market-leading manufacturer of industrial lighting solutions, focused on hazardous location fixtures. Nemalux will join the Cooper Lighting Solutions business, while maintaining its manufacturing base and headquarters in Canada.
Founded in Calgary in 2003, Nemalux has built a market-leading portfolio of high-specification LED lighting solutions, certified for use in some of the most demanding industrial applications, including oil and gas, chemical processing, manufacturing, and other hazardous environments. Through expert design, customization, and application services, Nemalux helps customers solve complex industrial lighting challenges while improving safety and operational performance. This acquisition will enhance Cooper Lighting Solutions’ industrial lighting portfolio, enabling it to better serve customers with comprehensive solutions in these important industries.
The acquisition is expected to close by the fourth quarter of 2025, subject to certain conditions.
