The nLight AIR® rPOD Micro by Acuity Brands offers a stylish and versatile wall switch, designed to blend in with modern, sophisticated environments while providing convenient control.

Leviton’s Solo High Bay PIR Occupancy Sensors integrate PIR occupancy detection and photocell technology directly into 0-10V dimming fixtures for standalone lighting control.

The Haleon BTP series of fixture integrated occupancy sensors with dimming photocells by Acuity Brands/SensorSwitch™ are designed for standalone industrial lighting control applications.

The NX Lighting Controls Digital LightHAWK (NXSMDT-LH or NXSMIR-LH) is a stylish wall switch that combines the breadth of the NX Switch Function Library with NX Lighting Controls occupancy-sensing technology and multifunctional photocell capabilities into a single device.

Casambi recently announced its newest feature-rich SoC, CBM-003, which enables new radio modes and longer range up to approximately 650 feet (200 meters) in real-world applications. Casambi is also announcing the production release of three new network component devices based on the new SoC, and the SoC is also already being deployed by dozens of partner companies in hundreds of products in the Casambi ecosystem. Together, these innovations have created a long-range BLE-based mesh network.

In order to meet code compliance, in certain application, vacancy sensing is more suitable than occupancy. MaxLite’s NN-RTVSW network sensor uses the company’s c-Max patented USB-C design to connect with a broad set of MaxLite controls-ready recessed luminaires.

PLC-Multipoint recently announced the CES/I-B, IRIS Photodiode Sensor with Bluetooth Low-Energy (BLE) compliant output. This indoor sensor provides wireless transmission of daylight levels to a lighting control system per either Casambi or Silvair Bluetooth 5.0 protocol.

LiteTrace recently announced that it has introduced its Keilton® BH4 Series of sensors, controllers, and receptacles. The BH4 Series is designed to simplify Bluetooth® wireless luminaire level lighting control (LLLC) of commercial indoor and outdoor luminaires, such as panels, troffers, high bays, low bays, area lights, and wallpacks.

Leviton recently introduced its Decora Edge™ line of wiring devices—promising a quick, easy, and safe way to install electrical devices for the home. Compared with traditional switches and outlets, Decora Edge streamlines installation by enabling users to simply push stripped 14-gauge or 12-gauge electrical building wire into a termination port, and close a lever that clicks into place, terminating the connection with confidence.

To help streamline installations and promote code compliance, Intermatic created the Electronic All-Purpose Contractor Box. The time-saving control offers everything contractors need to get projects off the ground in a ready-made, UL-listed solution.

Current recently announced availability of the NX Dual Tech OMNI (NXSMDT-OMNI) smart occupancy sensor, new to the NX Lighting Controls portfolio designed exclusively for specifiers and contractors.

The award-winning Leviton Load Center is a residential electrical circuit breaker panel that offers an easy-to-install, safe, and approachable solution to home energy management. This product, with its optional smart breakers and WI-FI communication hub, gives insight to energy usage which results in reducing utility bills.

IES Publishes 2022 Progress Report

The Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) recently announced that its Progress Committee has selected 81 design tools, products and publications for the 2022 IES Progress Report.

Leviton recently unveiled its new LED Downlight with Motion Sensor, which features a modern aesthetic, strong performance, and a wide range of customizable light settings. Applicable to indoor and covered outdoor areas where there is no wall switch or pull-chain overhead lighting, the device creates hands-free convenience and added safety for those entering or leaving a space.

The Integrated Home Competition recently announced the 2022 award-winning products at the CEE Industry Partners Meeting. The judges selected 17 innovative connected home devices that demonstrate the four tenets of the CEE Integrated Home Initiative: energy savings, demand flexibility, consumer amenity, and security.

Leviton recently announced the introduction of its Antimicrobial Treated Decora Slide Dimmer. The device, the first antimicrobial treated dimmer on the market, is the latest addition to the company’s current offering of antimicrobial treated Decora Switches, Toggle Switches, and Wallplates.

SensorSwitch™ recently announced its Just One Touch (JOT) wireless solution is now listed on the DesignLights Consortium® (DLC) Qualified Products List under the category of Networked Lighting Control Systems. JOT enables single touch pairing of JOT enabled controls, luminaires, and other lighting controls capabilities without the need for 0-10V dimming wires, mobile apps, or additional software.

UL 924 changes became effective May 6, 2022 that make many industry-standard emergency solutions obsolete by requiring an input signal to indicate the presence of normal power. Acuity Brands’ nLight AIR embedded luminaires and emergency devices with EM options have been updated, offering compliance, significant savings, and versatile response to the loss of power.
