Welcome to the Lighting Controls Academy! (Formerly the Lighting Controls Association.) The LCA has a new name and logo, a refreshed website, and some terrific new features to support lighting controls education.
New name: In keeping with its alliance with NEMA and the NEMA Academy, the Lighting Controls Association is now the Lighting Controls Academy, a NEMA coalition.
New website: The new LCA website has similar functionality and content as the old site, only with simplified information paths and an updated contemporary aesthetic in keeping with the cutting-edge nature of the lighting controls industry.
25 leading manufacturers: The LCA is made possible by support from 25 leading lighting controls manufacturers.
Education: The LCA remains the leader in lighting controls education. Under the “Learn” tab, you can click the “Video Courses” button for a roster of free video courses that will be dramatically expanded over the next year. Under the “NEMA Academy” tab, you can access our Education Express courses that are registered for education credit.
Design Center: Under the “Learn” tab, we will be building various design resources. First up is a Control Intent Narrative/Sequence of Operations template for 2024 IECC-compliant office buildings. This tool will also be dramatically expanded over the next year as we add templates for additional popular building types.
