Lighting Design + Application (LD+A), a leading publication in lighting design and application published by the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES), will bid farewell to its long-standing Editor and Publisher, Paul Tarricone, as he embarks on his retirement beginning October 1, 2023.
Under Tarricone’s leadership, LD+A emerged as a premier source of industry insights and expert analysis for lighting professionals. During his decades-long tenure, Tarricone ensured LD+A consistently delivered high-quality content that resonated with readers worldwide. Through his guidance, the magazine provided a platform for thought leaders, researchers, and practitioners to share their expertise and shape the future of lighting design.
One of these thought leaders is the Lighting Controls Association, which has contributed a column on lighting controls since 2011. We wish Paul well in his future endeavors and look forward to working with his successor on further knowledge about lighting control.
