Lighting Controls Academy Updates Daylight-Responsive Lighting Controls Course

The Lighting Controls Academy is pleased to announce it has updated its popular Education Express course, EE201: Daylight-Responsive Lighting Controls, now available at NEMA Academy.

Daylight-responsive lighting controls (aka, daylighting or daylight harvesting controls) are interior automatic controls that reduce electric lighting energy consumption in response to daylight contribution levels. Authored by C. Webster Marsh and Craig DiLouie, LC, CLCP, EE201: Daylight-responsive Lighting Controls describes a simple process for designing and applying lighting control solutions that utilize daylight-responsive control strategies.

This course is registered with the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Continuing Education System (CES) for Learning Units (LU)/Health, Safety, Welfare (HSW) credits, and is recognized by the National Council on Quality in the Lighting Professions (NCQLP) for Lighting Education Units (LEUs). It is also required for CALCTP (CALCTP) and NLCAA (NLCAA) training and certification and as preparation for NALMCO’s Certified Lighting Controls Professional (CLCP) certification exam.

Founded in 2006, Education Express has served nearly 50,000 professionals who have completed nearly a half million learning modules, building expertise through education.
