Leviton has expanded its award-winning Smart Ceiling Mount Sensors (CMS) line with new pre-configured Wireless Companion Keypads and a glass mounting plate.
These sleek, battery-powered devices can be installed directly on any wall or glass surface using the glass mounting plate or mounted to existing wallboxes, all without the need for wiring. CMS provides integrated, scalable, and code-compliant lighting controls for commercial applications. Designed for ceiling installation, CMS combines occupancy or vacancy detection with switching or dimming control in a single unit, reducing the need for multiple components, and simplifying system design.
Just two devices installed provides occupancy/vacancy sensing, dimming, partial-ON, partial-Off, daylight harvesting, plug load control, demand response, and UL924 emergency lighting. The Smart Sensor App supports faster commissioning – configure devices, program scheduling, create groups, and generate custom templates for easy multi-room replication. Single and dual relay models include two interchangeable lenses and aisleway masks.
CMS devices are suited for a range of applications such as classrooms, offices, conference rooms, corridors, and other shared spaces. Multiple sensors can be grouped to extend coverage in larger areas or irregular layouts up to 10,000 square feet. Add compatible low voltage or wireless companion devices to provide local manual control where required.
